Summer Project
During the Summer of 2021, I interned for Adventureland Park as the Bar & Events Intern. One of the most exciting parts of my internship was working in the cabana office because it was like a hosting mini event every day. We would have companies reserve a block of cabanas for their employees to enjoy. Check out my summary of when we had companies stay with us below!
Company Cabana Party

On July 11, 2021, Adventure Bay had a large company rent our entire section of wave pool cabanas. There are five wavepool cabanas and they are the most luxurious cabanas that Adventure Bay has to offer! This company had specific requests about which food they wanted and when they wanted each food item to be served. My team and I made sure to deliver each food platter on time without any mistakes. Throughout the day, we would clear any finished platters, empty garbage, and check in to see if any individual guests wanted any beverages from the bar.
At the end of the night, we would take inventory of each cooler we supplied and deduct how many they consumed to how many we stocked it with to see what we needed to charge them. After that, we cleaned each cabana and prepped it for the next day's reservations.

The wavepool cabanas have their own personal deck with luxury lounge chairs and complimentary tubes for the party to use!
